Honkai: Star Rail is available now for PC, Android, and iOS, with a PlayStation 5 release scheduled for Q4 of 2023. Armed only with an uncontrolled power and a vague prophecy, the Trailblazer teams up with the crew and sets out across the stars to discover the secret of their existence and the purpose for which they were created. Players can expect the official release to happen around the same time, on April 26. It begins on a space station under attack, as a mysterious woman creates an artificial human, named the Trailblazer, and embeds a dangerous artifact into their body, before disappearing. The game follows the adventures of the crew of the Astral Express, a starship that heavily resembles a train. While Genshin is an action-based RPG affair, Honkai: Star Rail is a turn-based RPG along the lines of the classic Final Fantasy titles, with modern visuals and a few overhauls. Honkai: Star Rail is the latest free-to-play gacha RPG from Hoyoverse, the creators of the extremely successful Genshin Impact. Building your four-person combat team from a wide range of playable characters, getting along with your companions, and leveraging their unique skills correspondingly to overcome challenges from every corner of the universe Honkai: Star Rail will launch on PlayStation in the near future. The Playstation 5 version is set to drop sometime in Q4 of this year, so players probably won't get their hands on the game until this Winter. With a new trailer at Summer Game Fest 2023, PlayStation 5 players finally got word of when to expect Honkai: Star Rail’s jump from PC and mobile to the PlayStation platform, though it won't be imminent.
